Controller – Manchester, NH KBW Financial Staffing and Recruiting is working with an established manufacturing company in Manchester, NH seeking a Controller. This is a hands-on leadership position with responsibility for the accounting function and direct interaction with company leadership. The ideal candidate will bring a strong manufacturing accounting background and enjoy being involved in both the day-to-day accounting and broader financial management of the business. This is a growing organization looking for someone who can evaluate issues, recommend solutions and help improve processes as the company continues to evolve. Responsibilities Oversee the monthly and year-end close processPrepare and review financial statements and management reportingManage budgeting, forecasting and financial analysisOversee cost accounting, inventory and manufacturing-related accountingManage cash flow and other treasury activitiesPartner with operations to analyze costs, margins and business performanceMaintain appropriate accounting policies, procedures and internal controlsCoordinate external audit and tax requirementsOversee and develop the accounting teamSupport accounting system and process improvementsProvide financial analysis and recommendations to company leadership Requirements Strong Controller or senior-level accounting experienceManufacturing accounting experience requiredSolid cost accounting and inventory experienceStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reportingExperience with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysisStrong ERP and Excel skillsPrior experience managing or developing accounting staffAbility to remain hands-on while also working effectively with senior leadershipBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Compensation: $120K–$130K plus bonus and excellent benefits.
