Controller
Job Summary
The Controller is responsible for the operations of the Accounting and PBX departments and must ensure that the financial records of the hospital are accurate and properly stated. The Controller ensures compliance with JCAHO, HCA, and GAAP standards and prepares financial reports including Medicare Cost Reports, budgeting process, year-end closing, and bad-debt review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business with an emphasis in Accounting required
- 5+ years experience of hospital accounting required; 2+ years of leadership/supervisory experience required
- CPA or MBA preferred
