Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to lead our accounting operations, ensure financial integrity, and drive robust financial reporting. You will oversee all aspects of accounting – including monthly closing processes, financial statement preparation, internal controls, tax compliance, and financial planning and analysis.As a key partner to the finance leadership team, you will establish strong financial guardrails and streamline processes to support company growth. Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & Accounting OperationsManage full-cycle accounting operations, including A/R, A/P, General Leger, Payroll and Bank ReconciliationsLead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing processes to ensure accurate, timely GAAP-compliant reportingPrepare comprehensive financial statements, variance analyses, and management reports for executive leadershipOversee cash flow management, treasury functions, and cash forecastingInternal Controls & ComplianceDesign, implement, and maintain effective internal control policies and operating proceduresManage state, local, and federal tax filings, business licenses, and regulatory reporting requirementsCoordinate and lead external audits, serving as the primary point of contact for accounting auditorsFinancial Planning & AnalysisWork with senior leadership to develop annual budgets including revenue growth assumptions, merit increases, and expense projectionsCompare actuals to budget and update forecast, evaluating whether budget assumptions need to be modifiedQualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred)Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferredExperience:7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2-3 years in a Manager or Assistant Controller rolePublic accounting (Big 4 or regional) experience preferredDeep knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standardsTechnical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel, hands-on experience with modern ERP systems and automated accounting software Why Join Us?We work with brands that live at the intersection of lifestyle and experience—from top professional athletes to high-end real estate and golf destinations.
