Financial Controller

We are looking for a skilled Financial Controller who will be responsible for all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation. An ideal candidate will be hands-on, responsive, and able to handle multiple competing priorities with urgency. The Controller will work with all various levels within the company and work well in a team environment. You will review and develop our internal control policies and procedures as well as perform financial risk management. Flexible in/out of office work schedule.

• Review and organize the entire stack of company's accounting operations: Billing, A/R, A/P, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition, GL and Counsel

• Create and document business processes and accounting policies to optimize internal controls

• Manage the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and and prepare reports on the results

• Oversee company's month-end and year-end close processes

• Perform quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

• Oversee the preparation of regulatory reporting

• Create timely monthly financial statements and present them to company's executives and top managers

• Ensure the compliance with state reporting requirements, applicable laws and tax filings

• Payroll functions

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 5 years' experience of working as a Finance Manager or Controller position

• 10 years' experience with accounting procedures and principles

• Significant experience with general ledger functions, the month-end/year end close process and financial statements management

• Good knowledge of accounting software and QuickBooks

• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace and tech ability in paperless environment

• BS degree in Accounting or Finance
