Contrôleur/euse fiscal/e au Contrôle externe de la TVA (BS/BL/SO)

Responsibilities

• Perform risk-focused audits independently and in German for businesses or their representatives in the cantons of Basel-Landschaft, Basel-Stadt, and Solothurn
• Review, interpret, and evaluate balance sheets, income statements, financial accounting documents, and operational accounting records
• Calculate potential tax discrepancies, present arguments, and discuss these differences with the business
• Provide guidance to businesses on the correct preparation of VAT returns
• Participate in projects and collaborate within specialized teams

Requirements

• Higher education in accounting, auditing, taxation, or trust services, or a degree in business economics (HES or ES) with relevant professional experience
• Basic knowledge of VAT and auditing techniques, along with analytical skills for assessing economic issues from a tax perspective
• Confidence, sense of responsibility, and ability to assert yourself and persuade others
• Proficiency in a second official Swiss language and ideally knowledge of English
