Apply Description Industrial Valve Sales and Service is seeking a talented Control Valve Technician for their location in Mobile, AL. The role will involve Shop & Field work on Control Valve repairs. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Follows safety and quality proceduresMust be able to read measuring/scaling devicesControl Valve Tech responsibilitiesCleaning, blasting, and painting valve componentsSupport Control Valve Tech by mentoringOperate equipment (overhead hoist, blaster, parts washer, torch, etc.)Enjoy doing mechanical workMaintain a clean and organized work areaMaintain equipment in area, as requiredMay be required to help in field assignmentsRequired to climb and work at various elevations depending on job scopeMust be able to operate motor vehicleMust have a safety awareness in the industrial workplaceMust be able to document and enter job data Requirements Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalentCurrent Basic OSHA Safety Training (preferred)Job specific degree and/or certification (preferred)Current or up-to-date TWIC (preferred)5 years or more control valve industrial experience
