Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair AC & DC circuits, photo eye sensors, encoders, programmable logic controllers, and barcode readers.
- Perform program changes and monitor PLC and PMS systems.
- Conduct maintenance on controls, process controllers, control cabinets, power supplies, and field devices.
- Follow safety procedures including lockout-tag out and confined space protocols.
- Complete work orders, document activities, and manage parts and inventory.
- Utilize electrical diagnostic equipment and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Perform low and high voltage repairs, including fuses, relays, wiring, and contactors.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience with PLCs, conveyors, and controls.
- Electrical experience with high and low voltage AC/DC systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of automatic identification systems and proficiency with PC hardware/software.
- Experience programming PLCs like Allen/Bradley or Siemens.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Support for overtime work and possession of a valid driver's license.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
