Essential Functions
- Ensure all machines' electrical or control components are operational, including safety devices and safety systems.
- Provide support, troubleshooting, calibration, and preventive maintenance for all controls and electrical systems housed in a cooler environment.
- Conduct daily observations & inspections of all systems, including following up with key Creekstone Operations personnel.
- Report to Creekstone Management any system not operating within normal guidelines and receive direction on required next steps.
- Work with Creekstone Management to establish timelines and priorities for repairs or corrective actions.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Learn, understand, troubleshoot, and support advanced control systems, which are highly computer-driven.
- Learn, understand, troubleshoot, and support electrical systems made up of several parts, including mechanical systems, sensing and actuation devices, PLC control systems, and PLC software functionality.
- Maintain and make recommendations to improve automated processes.
- Collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines to troubleshoot and maintain the new system.
- Solve day-to-day problems using strong analytical skills.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
- Understand various technologies such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), photo eyes, sensors, scanners, variable frequency drives, solenoids, cylinders, and airlines.
- Understand how PLCs and computer systems control major sub-systems.
- Understand the connection of major PLCs, scanners, smart devices, and computers in the Creekstone Ethernet Network.
- Understand bar code label printers and applicators.
