Key Responsibilities
- Maintain PCS, ECS, MCS, and QCS integrity and documentation.
- Daily technical support to the UT manufacturing unit including troubleshooting and repair.
- Control systems retrofit and re-instrumentation projects support as needed.
- Audit and maintain control systems engineering standards.
- Management of change activities – leading and technical assurance review.
- Ensure use of appropriate hardware.
- Identify control systems reliability improvement areas.
- Support unit Turnaround and preventative maintenance activities.
- Audit control systems and develop obsolescence plans.
- Train and mentor IE Technicians as needed.
- Back-fill for other CSI as needed (ex: vacation coverage).
Required Skills
- Field instrument expertise – automated valves, transmitters, measurement, etc.
- 5-15 years experience in process control/instrumentation.
- Team leadership skills including Team Building, Self-Initiative, Planning, Customer Focus, and Flexibility.
- Knowledgeable of Loop checks, Loop tuning, and Loop Sheets.
- Knowledgeable of DCS systems, PLC’s, and Safety Instrumented Systems hardware.
Qualifications/Experience (desired)
- Modicon PLC programming.
- Allen-Bradley PLC programming.
