Control Systems EIT/Designer

Responsibilities
- Participate in the design of complex supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems
- Aid with selection and specification of process instrumentation, control panels, and network equipment
- Aid in the development of biddable and technically accurate instrumentation and control system construction documents
- Aid in the development of software applications for automation such as programmable logic controller (PLC) and human machine interface (HMI)
- Avoid system testing and commissioning activities
- Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures
- Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables
- Work independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers on larger projects
- Give direction to clerical and technical personnel
- Perform other duties as needed
Requirements
- Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate
- Candidates without their EIT will be called a Control Systems Designer and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Skills
A preferred qualification is having a Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate. Candidates without their EIT will be called a Control Systems Designer and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.)
