Responsibilities
- Promote and sell the organization's products within an assigned geographic area or list of customer accounts.
- Personal visits to existing and new customers to assess their needs and suggest appropriate products and services.
- Develop sales skills and knowledge of the organization's product, services, and customers through collaboration with more experienced sales representatives.
- Troubleshoot and handle customer-related inquiries.
- Engage in merchandising activities such as stocking shelves, cleaning shelves, stocking cold boxes, and building displays.
- Work nights and weekends on promotional activities and other account activities.
Qualifications
- A four-year college degree, preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A current, valid state driver’s license, meeting vehicle insurance requirements as defined by the Company and Alcohol Beverage Commission License, as required by the state.
- Regular lifting up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting up to 100 pounds.
- Demonstrable ability in and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and objection handling skills.
- Proven abilities to develop selling strategies targeted to enhance wine and spirit sales.
- Ability to work with management, colleagues, and customers throughout the business and industry at every level.
- Must be 21 years of age.
