Control Room Officer

About the role

The Security Officer/Guard maintains a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises, patrolling various locations, preserving order, enforcing regulations and directives, and providing customer service and information to employees and customers.

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
• Patrols a variety of locations to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Preserves order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
• Provides customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.

Requirements

• Prior dispatch or security operations experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.

Pay

$21.00 per hour; weekly pay.
