About the role
OCA Global, an international private capital group headquartered in Spain specializing in inspection, certification, testing, consulting, and training, is seeking a professional to join their team in Lima.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update both project schedules using Microsoft Project, ensuring traceability of milestones, dependencies, progress, and critical path.
- Review and analyze contractor schedules, consolidating planned vs. actual progress and maintaining historical records.
- Keep the Look Ahead, Milestone Register, and Constraint/Interface Log updated.
- Identify delayed activities, deviation trends, and upcoming constraints that may affect schedules.
- Provide control and traceability support for valuations, coordinating with the Civil Coordinator/Supervisor.
- Implement and maintain master documentation registers (Master Drawing Register/Drawing Log, transmittals, revisions).
- Maintain updated Action Log, Decision Log, Change Log, and formally manage the Risk Register with information provided by responsible parties.
- Prepare information for meetings, follow up on actions/commitment dates, and produce the basis for the Weekly Integrated Service Report and agreed-upon dashboards or indicators.
Requirements
- Educational background: Engineering, architecture, or a related construction/engineering project professional degree (professional title or membership is not strictly required for this position).
- General work experience: Minimum of 5 years.
- Specific work experience: Minimum 3 years in Project Controls, planning, project control, and/or document management for engineering or construction projects.
- Experience in industrial, construction, or assembly projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project (developing, updating, and tracking schedules).
- Experience in physical progress, Look Ahead, milestones, constraints, critical path, and reporting.
- Experience in drawing control, document reviews, transmittals, master registers, and document repositories.
- Desirable (not mandatory): Experience with SharePoint, Teams, or other document management platforms.
- Work experience calculation: Counted from graduation date of professional degree.
Schedule & Work Location
- Schedule: In-person, Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (48 hours per week, including 1 hour daily break not counted as work time).
- Work location: Cercado de Lima (two adjacent sites, walking between them; no vehicle driving required).
