About the role

Caregiver’s Home Solutions (CHS) is seeking dedicated, experienced caregivers—including Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Personal Care Assistants (PCAs), homemakers, and companions—to provide compassionate in-home care in Fairfield and New Haven counties. Hourly, live-in, and overnight shifts are available.

Requirements

• Compassionate, patient, and trustworthy
• Able to adapt to new situations and environments
• Good listener and able to remain calm under stress
• Skilled at multitasking
• Reliable and ready to work
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Capable of passing a national background check
• Comfortable providing hands-on personal care
• Able to assist with personal hygiene tasks
• Willing to prepare healthy meals
• Able to perform basic household tasks

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience using gait belts, Hoyer lifts, transfer boards, and other assistive equipment
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle
• Bilingual skills, especially in Spanish, Hindi, Portuguese, or Creole

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities such as grooming, bathing, dressing, and hygiene
• Support mobility, transfers, and light exercises
• Prepare meals and assist with light household tasks
• Provide companionship and social support
• Maintain detailed notes on care and observed changes
• Provide transportation to medical appointments and errands
