Contracts Specialist - TS/SCI required
Job Description
As a Contracts Specialist at Parsons, you will join a fast-paced team supporting mission-critical requirements for the Department of War and DoD. You will become part of a diverse group of 500 professionals delivering expertise in contract management, procurement, and compliance across Aberdeen Proving Ground and Edgewood, Maryland, for a portfolio of efforts spanning 5 years and a total value exceeding $600 million.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and manage procurement-related documents in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), DOD 5000 series, and associated supplements.
- Cook up and support Industry Days and other acquisition-related events.
- Develop requirements documents, including Market Research Reports, Work Statements, CDRLs, CLINs, DD-254s, Acquisition Plans, Source Selection Plans, Justifications & Approvals, and Determinations & Findings.
- Provide administrative support for source selection processes.
- Administer contracts, including preparation of Procurement Requests, Modification Requests, Technical Direction Letters/Instructions, and tracking obligations, expenditures, and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support successful contract execution and performance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience providing contract management support
- Active TS/SCI is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), DOD 5000 series, and procurement best practices
- Excellent organizational skills
Security Clearance Requirement
A strong security clearance requirement includes an active Top Secret SCI security clearance for this position.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $88,400.00 - $154,700.00.
