Contracts Specialist - TS/SCI required

Job Description

As a Contracts Specialist at Parsons, you will join a fast-paced team supporting mission-critical requirements for the Department of War and DoD. You will become part of a diverse group of 500 professionals delivering expertise in contract management, procurement, and compliance across Aberdeen Proving Ground and Edgewood, Maryland, for a portfolio of efforts spanning 5 years and a total value exceeding $600 million.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and manage procurement-related documents in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), DOD 5000 series, and associated supplements.
• Cook up and support Industry Days and other acquisition-related events.
• Develop requirements documents, including Market Research Reports, Work Statements, CDRLs, CLINs, DD-254s, Acquisition Plans, Source Selection Plans, Justifications & Approvals, and Determinations & Findings.
• Provide administrative support for source selection processes.
• Administer contracts, including preparation of Procurement Requests, Modification Requests, Technical Direction Letters/Instructions, and tracking obligations, expenditures, and deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support successful contract execution and performance.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field
• 10+ years of professional experience providing contract management support
• Active TS/SCI is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), DOD 5000 series, and procurement best practices
• Excellent organizational skills

Security Clearance Requirement

A strong security clearance requirement includes an active Top Secret SCI security clearance for this position.

This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $88,400.00 - $154,700.00.
