About the role

The Counsel will provide comprehensive legal support and guidance on a wide range of issues related to the life sciences industry, including but not limited to contracts, compliance, acquisitions, data processing and intellectual property.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and redline a wide variety of contracts and supporting documentation, including master services agreements, vendor agreements, statements of work, fee-for-service agreements, contractor agreements, non-disclosure agreements, third party data access agreements, licensing agreements, partnership agreements, etc.
- Engage in direct negotiations and discussions with Trinity’s clients and vendors.
- Review and evaluate risks associated with various US and OUS privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR compliance).
- Able to conduct legal review of various contractual agreements with minimal oversight.
- Assist in acquisition support/integration.
- Provide prompt legal support and guidance to Trinity leadership and management teams.
- Review and complete RFP/RFI questionnaires and Vendor forms.
- Answer questions regarding current agreements' terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with various internal business partners including Compliance, HR, and IT.
- Perform administrative tasks on an as needed basis, such as signing documents and electronic filing.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and a minimum of 5+ years with a preference given to life sciences/pharma industry experience.
- Experience with regulatory compliance, intellectual property, and contract law is essential.
- Significant redlining and contract review and negotiation experience required.
- Knowledge of applicable healthcare, compliance, and privacy laws, rules, and regulations (Sunshine Act, Anti-Kickback Statue, pharmacovigilance requirements, HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, etc.).
- Must be detail oriented and demonstrate excellent organizational skills.
- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility, and a strong work ethic focused on providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Pay
A reasonable estimate of the current salary range $84,000 - $126,000. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus.
