Position Summary

National Jewish Health is seeking a Contracts Administrator to support the organization’s contract management operations and ensure compliance across all agreements. This role serves as a key partner to internal stakeholders, providing guidance on contract review, mitigating risk, and maintaining efficient, compliant processes that support organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage contract review, drafting, and execution to ensure compliance with legal and institutional requirements

  • Maintain the contracts management system and track key dates, obligations, and documentation

  • Identify risks and conduct audits to support contract compliance and process improvements

  • Serve as a resource to staff and leaders for contract-related guidance and training

Essential Duties

  • Reviews and revises contracts to ensure compliance with institutional policies and legal requirements

  • Identifies potential risks in contract terms, conditions, and outcomes

  • Maintains a database of all contracts and tracks key dates and obligations

  • Conducts contract audits and compliance reviews to identify and mitigate risks

  • Conducts periodic assessments of contract review and management system to identify risks or opportunities for improvement

  • Provides support to departments and business leaders with contract-related questions and issues

  • Maintains current knowledge of applicable federal and state privacy laws and accreditation standards, and monitors advancements in information privacy technologies to ensure organizational adaptation and compliance

  • Assists with regulatory notifications pursuant to contractual and compliance obligations as needed

  • Recommends updates to institutional policies on contracting

  • Assists with department needs as required, including coordinating with external agencies such as the Office of Civil Rights, other legal entities, organization officers, and internal departments on documentation requests and submissions, preparing for onsite audit visits and corrective action plan responses

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required

  • Work Experience: 2 years of contract review experience required, healthcare experience preferred

  • Special Training, Certification or Licensure: Certification in Health Care Privacy and/or Compliance preferred (HCCA or IAPP). Completion of an ABA-approved program or a paralegal certificate program preferred.

Salary Range

$77,572.56 - $102,583.71
