Pricing & Proposal Development
- Lead development of cost proposals in response to RFPs, RFQs, and task orders
- Ensure pricing compliance with FAR, DFARS, and solicitation requirements
- Build, maintain, and document pricing models, including labor, subcontractor costs, ODCs, and indirect rates
- Develop and support Basis of Estimate (BOEs) with clear alignment to technical and management approaches
- Perform cost and price analysis, including subcontractor evaluations
- Collaborate with business development, contracts, and technical teams to develop competitive pricing strategies
- Support cost volume preparation and audit readiness (e.g., DCAA inquiries)
Program Control Support
- Assist program managers with budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking
- Support development of Estimates at Completion (EACs), burn rate analysis, and variance reporting
- Monitor program financial performance, including labor utilization and subcontractor spending
- Help track funding, revenue, and costs to ensure alignment with contract requirements
- Contribute to monthly financial reporting and internal reviews
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 4–8+ years of experience in pricing, cost analysis, or related financial roles (government contracting preferred)
- Strong understanding of government proposal pricing processes and regulations (FAR/DFARS)
- Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, data analysis)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple proposal deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience developing pricing for federal proposals
- Familiarity with cost-type, T&M, and fixed-price contract structures
- Exposure to program control, financial reporting, or EVMS concepts
- Experience with Unanet or similar tools
- Understanding of indirect rate structures (fringe, overhead, G&A)
