About the role
Gulf Companies has served the global energy industry since 1953 by supporting the complete project lifecycle and developing valued business partnerships to ensure project success. The Contracts Manager performs contract administration for all GIE contracts with subcontractors.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review GIE contracts with subcontractors
- Maintain files of all subcontracts for designated projects
- Maintain correspondence files for subcontracts
- Provide contract administration functions including maintaining records of scope changes, extra work requests, letters to/from contractor, etc.
- Provide project control with cost trends for contracts
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in contracts administration
- Knowledge of contractual language and terminology
- Familiarity with insurance coverage and state laws governing contractual agreements
- Experience with FERC is highly desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software
- Supervisory experience is required
