Contracts Manager

GE Aerospace’s Electric Power and Propulsion Contracts Organization is seeking a Contract Manager to support the full contract life cycle—from cradle to grave—across government, commercial, and civil contracting environments. This role partners closely with product lines and serves as the primary focal point for government, airframer, and commercial procurement customers throughout all program phases: proposal strategy, solution development, production, sustainment, and closeout.

Responsibilities

• Support various contracts and agreements (fixed price, cost reimbursement, prime, sublevel, FAR Part 12/15, OTA, international, civil, etc.) with a heavy focus on US Government traditional contract structures and standardizing processes for maximum throughput.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to guide the capture process for new opportunities and ensure continued execution of existing agreements.
• Assess, disposition, and flow-down FAR, DFARs, and commercial terms and conditions for solicitations and contracts.
• Provide contract life cycle support for multiple programs, including solicitation assessment, proposal strategy and compilation, audit and negotiation, contract operation and change management, customer relationship maintenance, administration of claims and disputes, and contract closeout.
• Maintain commitment to compliance, quality, and timeliness.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
• 5-7 years of experience in government, commercial, or international contract formation and execution.
• Experience administering Federal Acquisition Regulations, with emphasis on FAR Parts 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) and 15 (Contracting by Negotiation), and the aligned DoD Regulation Supplement.
• Experience evaluating risk against commercial terms and conditions.
• Experience briefing stakeholders, including cross-functional team members and functional leadership.
• Periodic travel required.

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of base salary or commission, as per the plan.
