About the role

The Contracts Manager at ABSL Space Products is responsible for award management, contract lifecycle from review to execution, compliance and negotiation for Aerospace & Defense and commercial markets associated with specialty batteries, development programs, and government-funded contracts across EAS entities. The role also supports data analysis and manipulation, FAR/DFARs/CFR compliance, representations and certifications activities, and managing contractual relationships with the customer.

Responsibilities

  • Review and prepare contractual documents for management review, comment, and approval.
  • Manage the review and tracking of contractual documentation, status, and approvals to drive the contract acceptance process through completion.
  • Interpret, compile, edit, and proofread text and data from various sources for use in technical discussions, documents, reports, and proposals.
  • Review contracts and terms & conditions for alignment with corporate standards, recommend strategies to negotiate mutually acceptable positions, and administer contracts to maintain compliance.
  • Work with corporate resources to manage Contract, ITAR, Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), and FAR/DFARs/CFR compliance.
  • Aid in the development, operation, and enforcement of internal controls and protocols.
  • Manage completion of customer forms, certifications, and other required documentation for both external and internal policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Business, Engineering, or closely related discipline, or equivalent level of knowledge acquired through experience and/or other training.
  • 5-10 years of experience in government contracting with experience administering firm-fixed and cost-plus contracts.
  • Expert knowledge of FAR, DFARs, and CFR.
  • Thorough knowledge of CMMC, cybersecurity, and safeguarding of information.

Compensation Range

$96,200 - $120,000 (Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location.)
