Contracts Management Analyst

About the role
The selectee will perform as the Decision Technologies Entry-Level, Junior or Mid-Level Contracts Management Analyst for a US Navy Weapons Engineering and Program Acquisition Support contract. This position is 100% on-site, in-office in Arlington, VA and is not eligible for hybrid or remote work. You must be eligible for a DoD Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Government to draft procurement-related documents in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations and associated supplements and DoD 5000 series requirements.
- Assist in the administration of contracts, to include preparation of Procurement Requests, Modification Requests, and Technical Direction Letters/Technical Instructions.
- Collect, review, and analyze information in order to make recommendations to the Government.
- Define the nature and extent of problems. Analyze relevant data, which may include financial expenditures, contracts, employment, or legislation.
- In the course of preparing recommendations, understand the nature of the organization, the relationship it has with others in the Government, and its internal organization and culture.
- Report findings and recommendations to the Government through written reports, briefs, and oral presentations.
Requirements
- Entry-Level: Some education in pursuit of a business or contracts career.
- Junior-Level: 1-3 years’ experience as a contracts or program analyst.
- Mid-Level: 4-7 years’ experience as a contracts or program analyst for a Government program office.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Policy, Finance, or related discipline.
- Direct experience as a contracts or program analyst with NAVSEA or PEO IWS program offices.
- An active SECRET clearance.
- Knowledge and experience referencing and analyzing DoD 5000 legislation, the FAR, and the DFARS.
- Experience working with contracts and acquisition documentation for ACAT-1/2/3 acquisition programs.
- Ability to work effectively with team members and subcontractors from various technical, acquisition, and administrative disciplines.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to develop and deliver coherent and concise customer presentations.

Pay
The pay range for this role is $60,000 - $110,000 USD per year.
