Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Contracts team and Executives on enforcement of the Basic Agreement and on various organizing objectives.
- Comprehensive understanding of DGA contracts covering employment in the film and television industry.
- Evaluating studio-submitted waivers pertaining to a Director’s creative and economic rights.
- Outreach to DGA members and studio representatives to discuss employment issues, economic rights & creative rights.
- Resolving contract disputes with studio counterparts, including filing contract grievances as necessary.
- Develop and drive contract enforcement campaigns.
- Support executive team in collective bargaining research and preparation.
Job Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work closely with a team as well as independently.
- Intellectual curiosity.
- Flexibility, organization, and ability to prioritize.
- Ability to navigate difficult conversations professionally.
- Comfort communicating with a wide range of individuals, including member leaders, attorneys, agents, and non-members.
- Excellent analytical and computer skills; proficiency with Excel.
- Previous experience with union representation helpful but not required.
- Work onsite 5 days per week.

Starting Salary Range
$68,000-75,000 depending on experience
