Contracts Attorney (Temporary)

Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a collaborative, business-minded attorney for a temporary remote opportunity. Candidates may be located and licensed in any U.S. jurisdiction.

About the role

This attorney will work closely with a small in-house legal team and assist with a variety of commercial contract matters in a fast-paced, fully remote environment. The assignment is approximately three months, beginning in mid-September.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, revise, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements
• Redline contracts and assist with contract management processes
• Monitor and respond to inquiries within a shared legal inbox
• Partner with legal team members to provide timely support to internal stakeholders
• Assist with day-to-day legal operations and other contract-related projects as needed

Requirements

• Active bar license in any U.S. state
• Prior experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a positive and adaptable attitude
• Ability to handle both routine and complex contract matters

• In-house and/or fintech experience

Schedule

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Approximately 3-month assignment
• Anticipated start date in mid-September to early October
• Fully remote
