This position may be filled at either the Principal Contracts Administrator (Level 3) or Senior Principal Contracts Administrator (Level 4) level. Ideally located in our El Segundo, CA offices, the selected candidate may also report to major sector office locations in Melbourne, FL, Rancho Bernardo, CA, Palmdale, CA, Oklahoma City, OK, or Clearfield, UT.

The Contracts Administrator will be a focal point for contracts process, policies, and industry regulations, including the Risk Work Authorization (RWA) system and management of the SOX self-audit process for contract set-up. This role includes managing various reporting responsibilities related to contracts, attending sector meetings, and acting as the primary Learning Exchange (LX) administrator.

Responsibilities

  • Manage various reporting responsibilities related to RWAs, SOX Controls, Closeouts, UCAs, and other topics as necessary on a monthly, quarterly, or bi-annual basis.
  • Attend Sector meetings, working groups, and compliance councils; act as primary owner for any resulting actions.
  • Serve as the primary Learning Exchange (LX) administrator, maintaining functional trainings in LX and My Learning Experience (MLE).
  • Provide regular support and facilitation of the Enterprise Contracts Training and Certification (ECTAC) program, including communicating with instructors, setting up classes, facilitating live classes, recording attendance, and closing classes.
  • Act as a focal point for Aeronautics Systems Sector to manage data calls at the Sector and Enterprise level.
  • Identify potential process/system enhancements and act as a focal point for PrOP updates.
  • Utilize SAP S/4, Analysis Office, PIEE/WAWF, MOCAS Data Access, and other reporting tools to perform business analysis supporting data calls and information requests.
  • Support initiatives and ad hoc requests from Sector and Corporate leadership.
  • Train the Sector and Division contracts organizations.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications for Level 3:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience OR Master’s degree and 3 years of related experience.
  • Experience in contracts management/administration, pricing, billing, accounting, finance, cost management, or similar business/industry responsibilities.
  • Experience creating and presenting effective business presentations using MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint) with the ability to plan and carry out complex projects across multiple functions.
  • Experience ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS regulations.
  • Capability to advise and interact with sector senior management and management across sectors.
  • SAP S/4 experience, ideally in Sales & Distribution (SD), Project Systems (PS), Financial Reporting, Billing, or Intercompany Work Order (IWO) processes.
  • Data mining, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.

Basic Qualifications for Level 4:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related experience OR Master’s degree and 6 years of related experience.
  • Experience in contracts management/administration, pricing, billing, accounting, finance, cost management, or similar business/industry responsibilities.
  • Experience creating and presenting effective business presentations using MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint) with the ability to plan and carry out complex projects across multiple functions.
  • Experience ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS regulations.
  • SAP S/4 experience, ideally in Sales & Distribution (SD), Project Systems (PS), Financial Reporting, Billing, or Intercompany Work Order (IWO) processes and/or integration with other SAP modules.
  • Data mining, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in contracts management/administration.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot tables, XLOOKUP, and macros.
  • Knowledge of SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) module and general corporate business processes and practices.
  • Experience with SAP SD module reporting and BW/OLAP reporting.
  • Capability to advise and interact with sector senior management and management across sectors.
  • Demonstrated process improvement using a disciplined approach.
  • Strong change-management and process-documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in running S/4 Embedded Analytics and Analysis Office reports.
  • Able to work collaboratively to drive positive outcomes.

Pay

Salary range depends on location and follows company geographic salary bands aligned with the position. The specific salary offer will be commensurate with experience.

  • Level 3:
    • Oklahoma City, OK: $77,000 - $115,200
    • Melbourne, FL and Clearfield, UT: $81,400 - $122,000
    • California: $94,200 - $141,200
  • Level 4:
    • Oklahoma City, OK: $96,200 - $144,200
    • Melbourne, FL and Clearfield, UT: $101,400 - $152,200
    • California: $117,500 - $176,300

Employees may also be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
