TekWissen is a global workforce management provider headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan that offers strategic talent solutions to clients worldwide. This is a 6-month temporary hybrid assignment located in Malvern, PA.

About the role

You will be an integral part of the ambitious Retail Public Sites modernization initiative, supporting our mission for investors by creating simple, intuitive, and delightful experiences. A strong candidate will leverage the opportunity to contribute to highly visible workstreams that drive significant impact.

Responsibilities

  • Create world-class design solutions for a wide range of user, business, and marketing goals by supporting program-level work.
  • Develop relevant deliverables including user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and prototypes in partnership with strategists, researchers, writers, and product managers.
  • Drive a sense of urgency in the team to deliver work, emphasizing the use of lean tools and techniques for rapid delivery of assignments.
  • Analyze and synthesize data, research insights, and client feedback to make critical design decisions day-to-day.
  • Utilize design thinking principles to build engaging customer experiences and craft designs with elegant simplicity.
  • Present design solutions to project teams, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring the success of the strategy and championing the best possible user experience.
  • Partner with IT project teams to ensure adherence to defined design and behaviors.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers on project schedules, assignments, and workflows.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience creating web and/or product design.
  • Strong wireframing and visual design skills in the context of component-based and responsive design practices.
  • Proficiency in modern design tools such as Sketch, Abstract, InVision, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.
  • Ability to proactively frame problems, collaborate on solutions, and challenge conventional approaches when needed.
  • Excellent communication skills (storytelling, visualization) and the ability to gain buy-in for ideas within a large organization.
  • Proven ability to design-lead a project from concept to completion.
  • Expertise in using both quantitative and qualitative data to inform design decisions.
  • Online portfolio with recent work and/or case studies is strongly preferred.
