Job Description

Full‑Time Contractor Sales Manager at McCORD'S Do it Best in Logansport, IN. The role supports both homeowners and contractors, providing knowledgeable service and helping grow the business.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an extensive knowledge of building materials and construction.
• Read and work with blueprints and construction design layouts.
• Use a computer to write up sales estimates, orders, and purchase orders.
• Know home improvement and construction components (e.g., kitchen cabinets, paint, building materials, electrical, plumbing).
• Communicate with contractors for estimates, orders, and delivery scheduling.
• Coordinate with co‑workers to arrange orders and deliveries.
• Be goal‑ and results‑driven to improve sales and overall business performance.
• Display strong organization and time‑management skills when working with contractors and customers.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with contractors and customers to build trust.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of sales experience (preferred).
• Experience in the sales and/or construction field is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license (required).
• Ability to reliably commute to or relocate to Logansport, IN 46947 before starting work (required).

Schedule

Day shift; no nights; weekends as needed. Operational hours: Weekdays 7 am – 6 pm, Saturdays 8 am – 5 pm, Sundays 10 am – 5 pm.
