Contractor Project Manager

About the role

Maintain and manage large-scale public sector IT projects in various locations including Rancho Cordova, Sacramento, Vacaville, and San Jose, CA.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams through System Development Lifecycle processes.
• Manage IT projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Lead teams in managing IT contracts valued at $1M+.
• Manage contract requirements and deliverables.

Requirements

• A minimum of three (3) years within the past seven (7) years as primary project manager for large-scale public sector IT projects.
• A minimum of three (3) years within the past seven (7) years managing IT projects with multiple stakeholders.
• A minimum of two (2) years within the past seven (7) years leading teams through System Development Lifecycle.
• Active PMP certification.
• A minimum of two (2) years within the past seven (7) years managing IT contracts valued at $1M+.
• A minimum of three (3) years within the past seven (7) years managing contract requirements and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience of Statistical Analysis System (SAS) and SAS MXG (Merrill’s Expanded Guide).
• Knowledge and experience evaluating IBM’s Z/OS mainframe usage data for System Management Facility (SMF), Hardware Security Modules (HSM), Removable Media Manager (RMM) Tape, Direct Access Storage Devices (DASD) and Adaptable Database System (ADABAS).
• Knowledge and experience within data center services and related technologies, including networking, telecommunications, cloud computing, and storage solutions.
