Summary
Position provides for assistance and support to contractors/drivers with settlement process, fuel cards and various required payments. Provides assistance in processing carrier loads for related departments. This role largely focuses on the processing and payment of various loads for contractors.Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Communicate with drivers to resolve load related issues preventing processing
- Answer various questions and/or transfer to the party best able to assist
- Work with Logistics division to solve carrier load problems and process shipments
- Manage contractor/driver fuel cards, including issuing, monitoring and turning off when problems arise along with issuing payment via fuel card to contractors and vendors
- Meet with new contractors/drivers during orientation to explain and answer questions regarding settlement process and finance department.
- Set up garnishments and related deductions for contractors upon receipt of court orders.
- Set up and enter new contractor paperwork into system, including authorization forms, direct deposit and online settlement forms.
- Perform other duties, tasks, or responsibilities as assigned.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree, or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent phone etiquette
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Professional appearance
- Able to work with minimum supervision
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
- Able to multi-task
Physical Demands
- Constantly in a stationary sitting position and occasionally will move around.
- Constantly operate a keyboard and mouse and constantly utilize a computer monitor(s).
- Constantly conversing with internal and external customers in person or via a phone system.
