Contractor- Appliance Delivery & Installation (Akron, OH)

About the role

Allegro Home Delivery is seeking experienced appliance installers and delivery drivers for local routes. The role offers consistent, predictable weekly volume with two-person delivery teams, including a two-week onboarding period.

Responsibilities

• Deliver appliances to customers' homes
• Install appliances according to manufacturer specifications
• Handle various appliances including refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, washers, dryers, microwaves, freezers, wall ovens, cooktops, and trash compactors
• Perform haul-away services and take photos for documentation

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR
• Active MC & DOT number with FMCSA
• Certificate of Insurance (COI)
• Valid Social Security Number or Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN) for contract setup
• Hand tools and appliance install experience (or hands-on certification training available for limited experience)
• Background check and drug screen required

Qualifications

• Experience driving a 26-foot box truck with a liftgate
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Benefits

• Transparent weekly earnings based on revenue per stop, stops per day, and weekly volume

Pay

Weekly earnings range from $3,400 to $5,950, depending on the number of stops made and the average rate per stop.

Schedule

Routes vary in length and frequency, but typically involve delivering appliances to customers' homes and performing installation and haul-away services. Drivers are expected to be home each evening.
