About the role

We are seeking a mid-level Contract Specialist (5+ years) with strong U.S. federal contracting experience to support prime contracts, task orders, pricing, and project setup. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a small, fast-moving company and can work independently in a mostly remote environment while collaborating across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Administer U.S. federal prime contracts, task orders, mods, and related documentation
  • Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and agency-specific requirements
  • Support pricing, BOEs, cost volumes, and financial reviews for proposals and modifications
  • Create and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and project setup in the accounting/ERP system
  • Track deliverables, funding, PoP, and contractual obligations
  • Interpret contract terms and advise internal teams on compliance
  • Assist the Subcontracts Specialist as needed, ensuring proper flow-downs, subcontract compliance, and timely execution of subcontract actions
  • Coordinate with Program Management, Finance, and Operations on contract requirements and reporting

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • 5+ years in U.S. federal contract administration or subcontract management
  • Strong knowledge of FAR and U.S. federal contracting processes
  • Experience with pricing, cost analysis, or financial modeling
  • Hands-on experience with WBS setup and project structure management
  • Strong communication, organization, autonomy, and attention to detail
  • Experience in a small business or lean environment preferred

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with DCAA compliance
  • Knowledge of JAMIS Prime, Costpoint, Unanet, or similar systems
  • Experience supporting proposals or BOE development

Pay

The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $115,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
