About the role
This unpaid contracted student internship supports students or recent graduates seeking practical experience in policy and public affairs. Interns may be eligible to earn academic credit through their college or university.
Responsibilities
- Update partner group contact information, demographic information, and organizational priorities.
- Assist with implementation of the agency’s new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, including reviewing and entering data from the previous system.
- Interact with Regional Coordinators to support project meetings with legislators, municipal officials, and stakeholders.
- Research proposed policy reviews and provide recommendations to the Policy Formulation Committee.
Preferred Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to do research and prepare recommendations.
