About the role

Contracted Faculty of Practice are needed to serve as Dissertation Advisors and Committee Members for EdD and Ph.D. graduate students in our Doctoral Kinesiology programs at Concordia University, St. Paul. Content areas include, but are not limited to: Exercise physiology, biomechanics, nutrition, health & wellness, leadership & administration, orthotics & prosthetics, physical education, physical therapy, and sport management.

Responsibilities

  • Mentoring students to meet student learning outcomes for their dissertation
  • Assessing student performance
  • Preparing students to be successful leaders in their chosen profession
  • Opportunity to move into teaching online courses

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree required
  • Experience with online delivery of education and communication
  • Organized, able to meet deadlines, and have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Passion for mentoring and supporting future industry leaders
