About the role
AWP Safety, based in Northeast Ohio, is a national leader in traffic control and safety services for public utilities (electric, gas, telecommunications) and other customers. As Contract Supervisor, you will review and process subcontracts and other contract documents, communicate with internal teams and customers during negotiation and execution, manage daily administrative systems, and oversee administrative personnel.
Responsibilities
- Review and process subcontracts and other contract-type documents.
- Communicate with AWP teams and customers during contract negotiation and execution.
- Manage daily administrative systems and administrative personnel.
- Train Contract Admins on operational activities and systems.
- Review contract documents for compliance.
- Set performance goals and maintain attendance/performance records for Contract Admins.
- Respond to requests for certificates of insurance and other documents.
- Support the Chief Legal Officer and Director of Contracts.
- Maintain contract tracking databases in collaboration with co-workers.
- Ensure contracts and proposal information are properly entered into corporate databases.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in a similar position preferred.
- Effective communication and organization skills.
- Ability to collaborate and take direction.
- Proficiency with technology and tools for document management, reporting, review, and editing.
- Strong proofreading skills for grammatical, typographical, and spelling errors.
- Ability to read and interpret written information clearly and accurately.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and track extensive detail.
- Proactive, confident, and able to work independently while maintaining strong teamwork skills.

Pay
$90,000–$100,000 based on experience.
