Contract Speech-Language Pathologist

About the role

Speech Language Pathologist specializing in therapy within a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive speech therapy services to patients in a SNF setting.
• Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and therapy sessions.
• Deliver therapy services for approximately 40 hours weekly, typically on an 8-hour shift.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate patient care.
• Contribute to patient recovery and quality of life improvements.

Qualifications & Skills

• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in a SNF or similar setting preferred.
