Contract Specialist II, Consultant
Job Description
The Contract Specialist, Consultant will provide acquisition support services to HHS OAMS, assisting with contract planning, solicitation, award, and post-award activities. This role requires a solid understanding of federal procurement regulations and the ability to manage moderately complex contract actions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support acquisition lifecycle activities, including market research, solicitation development, and contract administration.
- Prepare and maintain contract documentation in accordance with OAMS SOPDs.
- Affiliate with source selection processes and contract file audits.
- Cook with Contracting Officers and CORs to ensure timely and compliant acquisition execution.
- Use PRISM and UFMS systems to process acquisition actions.
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years of federal acquisition experience.
- Experience supporting the HHS.
- Familiarity with T&M and cost-type contracts.
- Proficiency with federal acquisition systems and documentation standards.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requirements simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- FAC-C Level II or III certification.
- Experience supporting HHS or other health-related federal agencies.
- Familiarity with CPARS, SharePoint, and acquisition dashboards.
