Location: Boerne, TX – Methodist Boerne Emergency Center, Emergency Department

About the role

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) assignment in the Emergency Department for a 13-week contract. Guaranteed 36 hours per week on a rotating day/night schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM. Rotating weekends and holidays per unit policy; no call requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care for urgent-care cases, stroke, STEMI, and pediatric patients
• Document patient care in Meditech
• Float to other units as needed, in accordance with Methodist’s floating policy

Requirements

• Active Texas RN license (temporary license not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale
• Ability to adhere to Methodist’s floating policy

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Meditech experience

Dress Code & Appearance

• Scrubs: Navy top and pants, navy or white scrub jacket
• Nails: Clean and healthy
• Hair: Neat, clean, no extreme styles or colors
• Facial hair: Beards, mustaches, and sideburns clean and neatly trimmed
• Tattoos: Covered whenever possible; exceptions reviewed individually
• Piercings: Only ear piercings permitted; all other visible piercings prohibited
