Contract Oncologist (Telehealth Second Opinions)

About the role

We are launching a technology-enabled, physician-led oncology second-opinion program supported by Genomate’s platform and are seeking licensed oncologists to join us as independent contractors.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert medical opinions on complex cases
• Collaborate with Genomate’s platform to facilitate patient referrals and consultations
• Ensure timely and accurate communication with patients and referring physicians
• Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in the practice of medicine

Requirements

• Licensed oncologist in good standing with a current medical license
• Experience in providing second-opinion services
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of oncology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Board certification in Oncology or related field

Skills

• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
• Strong organizational and time management skills
