For our client, we are seeking a Contract Negotiator V to join the team of a leader in the Hospitals & Medical Centers space. This role will lead complex vendor and provider contract negotiations that support healthcare operations and partnership performance. You will own contract implementation, ongoing relationship management, and the financial analysis needed to evaluate agreement outcomes. The position also partners closely with health plans and internal stakeholders to review performance data, identify issues, and drive corrective action when needed. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $107,700 – $199,300 annually Responsibilities Negotiate and manage vendor or provider contracts, overseeing implementation and ongoing relationships Conduct market research and analysis as directed by the organization Initiate and direct financial analyses and operational reporting for vendor and provider agreements Track the financial and operational success of assigned partnerships Develop corrective action plans or modifications to agreements as needed, collaborating with health plans and internal teams Lead meetings with health plans and execute teams to review performance data and partnership strategies Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience 8+ years of experience in vendor and/or provider contract negotiations and analysis Proven track record of successful contract negotiations with measurable financial outcomes Experience presenting negotiation strategies to senior management Preferred experience with healthcare provider negotiations related to pharmacy benefit management or managed care Benefits Comprehensive health insurance plans 401K and stock purchase options Tuition reimbursement for continued education Generous paid time off plus holidays Flexible work schedule options including remote, hybrid, field, or office work Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
