Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Drafts, analyzes, reviews, and negotiates brand marketing and property sales agreements, event services/management agreements, including but not limited to vendor agreements and talent/influencer agreements;
- Review and negotiate contracts with a focus on risk mitigation, protecting the company from unfavorable terms and liabilities;
- Manage contract tracking and oversee the end-to-end contract workflow across ESM Brand Marketing and Game Seven teams;
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including Legal and Finance, to streamline contracting workflows;
- Assist in coordinating and tracking fully executed agreements to ensure proper documentation and accessibility and ensuring proper documentation, filing, and reporting of all agreements and amendments;
- Proactively follow up with internal teams and external partners on contract status, signatures, and the progress of master agreements and scopes of work;
- Reviews marketing programs and promotional materials to ensure compliance with applicable principles, policies, and applicable law;
- Led significant projects, both within the legal department and across a variety of functions;
- and Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school;
- Admission to NY State Bar (preferred);
- 2-4 years of legal experience in a law firm, in-house counsel, or other relevant legal experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work independently, while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams;
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of contacts, including outside counsel, executive and senior management, and business associates;
- Experience in sports, media or entertainment industry law department or at law firm in relevant practice group strongly preferred;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that will enable interaction with a range of personalities and styles in a fast-paced business environment (including explaining complex and sensitive concepts to clients and colleagues);
- Solid analytic skills, creative problem-solving abilities and a practical business-oriented viewpoint;
- Meticulous attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize and produce quality work within deadlines;
- Outstanding drafting and organizational skills;
- Positive attitude focused on problem solving through a proactive and team-oriented approach to work.
- Presentation skills for purposes of, among other things, advising internal clients on risk assessment and mitigation.
Pay Range
The pay range for this position is: $100,000- $120,000 per year.

This position is also eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus.
