Contract Manager

About the Role

AfterQuery is seeking experienced Contract Managers and Negotiators to help train and evaluate AI systems on real-world contracting work. This is a remote, project-based role where you will apply your hands-on expertise to review commercial agreements, assess negotiation strategy, and evaluate whether AI-generated contract language is accurate, complete, and commercially sound. Work is asynchronous and flexible.

Responsibilities

• Review, evaluate, and annotate contract-drafting and negotiation scenarios
• Assess commercial terms, risk allocation, and negotiation judgment
• Deliver clear, consistent, well-documented work independently

Requirements

• Professional experience as a contract manager, contract negotiator, or equivalent commercial-contracts role
• Strong attention to detail and reliable commercial judgment
• Clear written communication

Pay

$75–$115/hour depending on project and expertise
