Contract Lawyer

About the role

An experienced lawyer with professional experience in commercial or transactional law, including hands-on experience drafting, reviewing, and redlining commercial contracts. The strongest candidates have both law-firm and in-house commercial contract experience and are comfortable reviewing counterparty paper against a company's standard positions or playbook.

Responsibilities

• Create, review, and evaluate realistic commercial contracts
• Develop and maintain company negotiation playbooks
• Produce complete, senior-level redlines
• Evaluate the quality of AI-generated contract reviews using objective criteria based on experience with contract drafting, review, redlining, and negotiation

Requirements

Candidates must be based in the United States.

Qualifications

Qualified to practice law in the United States.
