About the Role
The Interventional Radiation Tech is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare examination rooms
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals
- Position patients and equipment
- Document scans
- Monitor patient safety
- Produce diagnostic images
- Update records
- Organize schedules
- Perform administrative tasks
- Maintain radiographic equipment
Qualifications & Skills
- ARRT certification
- Kansas Radiology Tech license
- 2+ years of interventional radiology experience
- BLS & ACLS certification
- NIH knowledge
- Strong technical and patient care skills
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Cerner experience
Additional Requirements
COVID vaccination including booster.
