Responsibilities
- Oversight of daily nursing operations and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Leadership, mentoring, and support to nursing staff
- Monitoring quality of care and implementing improvement plans
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams for continuity of care
- Management of staffing, scheduling, and workflow
- Addressing resident/family concerns promptly and professionally
- Maintenance of accurate documentation and reporting
Requirements
- Active RN license (WV or compact)
- Previous DON or nursing leadership experience required
- Strong understanding of long-term care or skilled nursing standards
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to start quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment
