About the Role

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Contract Analyst / Contract Reviewer for its Global Risk Management team. The role bridges high‑stakes legal strategy and operational execution, influencing project profitability and risk mitigation by reviewing, redlining, and negotiating consultancy contracts and construction transaction documents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Deal Analysis: Review, redline, and negotiate professional services agreements, master service agreements (MSAs), work orders, NDAs, and other client‑facing consultancy and supply contracts, providing clear operational guidance.
  • Commercial Risk Mitigation: Identify potential liabilities early, recommend modifications, and protect the firm’s bottom line.
  • Lifecycle Management: Own contract lifecycle from drafting through execution and compliance monitoring, ensuring alignment with corporate risk standards.
  • Cross‑Functional Partnership: Serve as primary liaison between legal, insurance brokers, and project leads to resolve contractual roadblocks.
  • Process Architecture: Help build and refine contract management systems and internal policies, contributing to global risk handling.

What You Bring

  • 2‑5 years of experience in paralegal, contract analyst, or contract specialist roles within construction, infrastructure, engineering, real estate, or professional services sectors.
  • Proven expertise reviewing, drafting, negotiating, or administering professional services agreements, consultancy appointments, MSAs, work orders, or similar commercial contracts.
  • Strong analytical mindset focused on risk, with ability to assess commercial impact of clauses and propose balanced solutions.
  • High proficiency with legal mechanics (redlining, clause drafting, interpreting governing law).
  • Technical savviness: proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with contract management platforms or document automation tools is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for managing high‑level stakeholder relationships and explaining complex concepts to non‑legal colleagues.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage deadlines effectively.

Why This Role?

  • Work‑life balance in a corporate in‑house environment that values efficiency over billable‑hour pressure.
  • Direct impact: see the results of your work in physical construction projects.
  • Growth platform toward broader commercial management, project risk oversight, or senior contract operations.

Work Arrangement

This role is based in the Houston office and requires a hybrid schedule of two to three days per week on site.

Additional Information

  • On‑site requirements may change based on client needs.
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of the role where applicable.
