About the role
Environtec is one of the UK’s best known and most trusted specialists in asbestos, fire safety, water hygiene and lead paint services. Founded in 1994, we have invested in and built a highly effective network of branches across England, Scotland and Wales. Today we’re the partner of choice for hundreds of companies and organisations, ranging from blue-chip firms and government departments to NHS trusts, schools and universities. Each of our branches also has its own UKAS-accredited asbestos laboratory, ensuring we can turn round sample analysis and other tests quickly.
Responsibilities
- Schedule survey appointments and liaise with tenants and clients by phone and email
- Ensure surveyor schedules are fully optimised and contract requirements are met
- Support the Contract and Office Managers with day-to-day administration
- Attend meetings alongside the Contract Manager and prepare updates
- Communicate effectively with other internal teams such as Laboratory and Plans
- Provide regular progress reports and updates on project targets
- Manage correspondence and maintain accurate records
- Undertake general administrative duties as required
Requirements
- Previous administration or customer service experience
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Highly organised with excellent communication skills
- A team player with good attention to detail
