Job Summary
The plant Lean Leader drives Tyson Lean MOS processes, trains team members, and advises the Plant Manager on process ownership and cultural adoption.
Responsibilities
- Maintain governance and program administration requirements.
- Attend DMS Level meetings and provide teaching, coaching, feedback, and health checks.
- Publish weekly reports to leadership and maintain the War Room.
- Develop action plans with plant leadership to improve processes.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and team members to meet project milestones.
- Implement change management methodologies.
- Train and support new employees.
- Analyze KPIs and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments.
- Communicate progress and challenges to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Lean/CI background is a plus.
- Effective communication and coaching skills.
- Strong business acumen and technical skills.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
