Job Summary

The plant Lean Leader drives Tyson Lean MOS processes, trains team members, and advises the Plant Manager on process ownership and cultural adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain governance and program administration requirements.
  • Attend DMS Level meetings and provide teaching, coaching, feedback, and health checks.
  • Publish weekly reports to leadership and maintain the War Room.
  • Develop action plans with plant leadership to improve processes.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and team members to meet project milestones.
  • Implement change management methodologies.
  • Train and support new employees.
  • Analyze KPIs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments.
  • Communicate progress and challenges to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Lean/CI background is a plus.
  • Effective communication and coaching skills.
  • Strong business acumen and technical skills.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
