Continuous Improvement Manager (OPEX)

Responsibilities

• Identify through data analysis, work required in critical areas to drive improvement and efficiencies (i.e., initiatives/processes that will reduce waste) while provide recommendations on process improvements.
• Visit the production floor, to investigate issues with the subject matter experts (SME) to assist in resolution (troubleshooting).
• Oversee the Development Department and OPEX Department.
• Benchmark best practices with industry leading competitors and internal manufacturing plants to assist in new process implementation and providing recommendations to facilitate transitions or improve efficiencies.
• Create processes to improve productivity, while reducing plant waste.
• Cook up coordination with Maintenance, Engineering, Production and Planner/Scheduler on special projects as required.
• Optimize current operational processes.
• Recommend strategic equipment improvements.
• Conceptualize, influence and implement industry leading best practices as a result of research and analysis.

Qualifications

• Technical College Degree, bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 5-7 Years in Manufacturing
