Responsibilities

  • Facilitate, audit, and support continuous improvement at the Appleton plant.
  • Improve safety processes and Leader Standard Work to continuously promote safety culture.
  • Lead, build, and implement broad process improvements.
  • Develop reports for and provide data interpretations as required.
  • Comply with SQF, FDA, BRC, and GMP practices and programs to ensure safe food packaging products.
  • Mentor and develop planning for leaders as requested by local management.
  • Train employees on Lean Manufacturing concepts and techniques.
  • Conduct SQP and other Quality Audits in support of Quality Systems.
  • Support management practices that foster a positive, safe work environment, promote high morale, and encourage teamwork.
  • Manage project priorities and dependencies within the program.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to prepare business cases, program scope, assumptions and constraints, and identify component projects.
  • Coach and mentor project managers in best practices, use of the methodology, and leadership.
  • Conduct monthly program progress meetings with project managers.
  • Provide weekly dashboard progress reports, including detail on project schedule, costs, scope, risks, accomplishments and issues.
  • Identify and assist in resolving or escalate issues.
  • Facilitate post implementation review sessions and document lessons learned.
  • Provide status reports and presentations to staff and business leaders as requested.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent 5 years of CI experience.
  • 5 years of related professional experience within a manufacturing operation.
  • 5+ years of related Lean Manufacturing and Process Management experience.
  • Solid experience with employee safety and safety programs.
  • Proficient in methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
  • Able to effectively manage change and address resistance.
  • Understanding of Overall Equipment Effectiveness.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers.
  • Strong analytical skills as well as organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Solid project management capabilities with the ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously from origin through execution.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams.

Benefits

Role is eligible for 10% annual incentive provided the business meets financial goals and the individual meets their performance goals, subject to plan administration guidelines.

USD $98,400.00 - USD $139,000.00 /A Bonus Eligibility
