Continuous Improvement Manager

Safety & Compliance

Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Lead safety improvement initiatives and investigate incidents as required.
Ensure compliance with company policies, environmental regulations, and customer requirements.

Production Management

Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve production schedules and customer requirements.
Ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards.
Monitor production performance, identify constraints, and implement corrective actions.
Manage labor utilization, staffing levels, and resource allocation.
Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to meet operational goals.

Continuous Improvement

Lead Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, and waste-reduction initiatives.
Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and profitability.
Facilitate continuous improvement projects including preparation of Capital Purchases.
Drive process standardization and best-practice sharing across operations.

Leadership & Team Development

Coach, mentor, and develop supervisors and production employees.
Conduct performance reviews and establish development plans.
Foster employee engagement and continuous learning.
Lead change management efforts associated with operational improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business, or related field.
5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
Experience leading Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Strong knowledge of production planning, quality systems, and operational excellence methodologies.
Experience supervising teams in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

Leverage Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
